1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to ex4.dev and to any website, mobile app, product, experiment, or support interaction that links to this page. If a specific service provides a more detailed or separate privacy notice, that service-specific notice will control to the extent of any conflict.
This policy does not apply to third-party sites, app stores, SDK providers, payment processors, or other services that operate under their own privacy notices and legal terms.
2. Information We May Collect
Information you provide directly
Depending on how you interact with ex4.dev, this may include:
- your name, email address, and the contents of any message you send us;
- support details such as screenshots, files, device information, or bug descriptions you choose to provide;
- account, subscription, or purchase-support details if you ask us to help with a product or plan.
Information collected automatically
When you use a linked service, we may receive technical and usage information such as:
- IP address, approximate location based on IP, browser or device type, operating system, language, and app or site version;
- pages viewed, features used, timestamps, referral information, crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data;
- advertising identifiers, device identifiers, and related signals used for security, analytics, ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping, or service reliability.
Information from third parties
Some data may come from app stores, hosting providers, analytics or crash-reporting tools, authentication providers, payment processors, or advertising and attribution partners, including Appodeal and mediated demand partners, when those tools are part of the product you use.
These third parties may include Google Play Services, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, and Yandex, depending on the app or feature you use.
You do not need to create an account or provide personal information just to read these legal pages.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, and improve ex4.dev products and services;
- respond to support requests, questions, complaints, and account issues;
- measure reliability, diagnose bugs, understand usage patterns, and improve performance;
- serve ads, manage ad frequency, measure monetization performance, and help detect invalid traffic or fraud;
- protect users, detect fraud, enforce terms, and keep services secure;
- communicate important updates, policy changes, or service notices;
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights or the rights of others.
We do not use the act of reading these legal pages as a reason to send you marketing email. If marketing communications are ever offered, they should be based on your request, consent, or another lawful basis.
4. Legal Bases
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar requirements, we process personal data only when we have a lawful basis to do so. Depending on the situation, that basis may include:
- performing a contract with you or taking steps you ask us to take before entering one;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the service;
- your consent, where consent is required;
- compliance with legal obligations.
6. Advertising, Ad Providers, and Consent
Some ex4.dev-linked mobile apps or services may be supported by advertising. When that is the case, we may use one or more advertising or mediation providers, including Appodeal, Google ad services such as AdMob, Yandex, and their participating demand, measurement, and fraud-prevention partners.
Depending on the specific app configuration, those providers may process data such as:
- advertising identifiers such as Google AAID or Apple IDFA, when available on the device;
- IP address, network connection type, device model, operating system, app version, language, and other device or technical identifiers;
- ad requests, impressions, clicks, ad performance data, diagnostics, error reports, and anti-fraud signals;
- approximate location if location-related settings are enabled, and precise location only where a linked app enables it and a relevant partner supports it;
- purchase, revenue, or conversion events if a linked app chooses to transmit them for measurement or monetization purposes.
Where required by law, we or our consent tools may ask for consent before personalized advertising is activated. If consent is not granted, a linked service may still show non-personalized or less personalized ads.
Where available, you can change advertising and privacy choices inside the relevant app, through device privacy settings, or by contacting contact@ex4.dev. For more information about some of these providers, see the Appodeal Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy, and the Yandex Privacy Policy.
Some linked apps may also allow analytics or crash reporting to be delayed until consent is obtained, or enabled only after an opt-in, where supported by the relevant SDK and required by law.
8. Third-Party Services
Depending on the product or feature you use, third-party services may include infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or platform tools such as:
- Appodeal: may process advertising identifiers, IP address, network and device details, ad events, diagnostics, optional location signals, and monetization or conversion events, depending on app configuration, in connection with ad mediation and demand-partner routing. See the Appodeal Privacy Policy and Appodeal Partner Privacy Policies.
- Google Play Services: may process device, app, identifier, IP, crash, system activity, and connection information to support Android integrations, security, updates, and related Google services. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- AdMob: may process ad requests, app and device identifiers, IP-based approximate location, ad interactions, and other advertising signals to serve, limit, personalize, measure, and protect advertising. See the AdMob policies and restrictions.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: may process app-instance identifiers, advertising IDs where available, user and session counts, session duration, operating system, device model, geography, first launches, app opens, app updates, and in-app purchase events to measure app usage and engagement. See Firebase data collection and Privacy and Security in Firebase.
- Firebase Crashlytics: may process Crashlytics Installation UUIDs, Firebase Installation IDs, crash traces, and related diagnostic data to detect, group, and debug app stability issues. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.
- Yandex: may process IP address, cookies or similar technologies, device and browser details, timestamps, activity information, and location information depending on the specific Yandex service used. See the Yandex Privacy Policy.
If a specific product uses other providers, the relevant app listing, in-product disclosure, or service notice may describe them in more detail. Those third parties process data under their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
The active SDK mix may differ between products, platforms, and releases. A service that links to this page may use some of these providers and not others.
9. Retention and Deletion
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, keeping appropriate records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting security or legal obligations.
Retention periods vary based on the kind of data and the service involved. When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, or isolate it in backups until those backups expire.
If you want us to review, export, or delete information you shared directly with us, contact contact@ex4.dev.
10. International Transfers
ex4.dev and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. When that happens, we seek to rely on appropriate contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards where required by applicable law.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, but no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should also protect your devices, accounts, and passwords.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant supervisory authority.

You can object to some processing or ask us to restrict it where the law allows.
California residents and users in other states with similar laws may also have the right to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising as those terms are defined by applicable law. Depending on how a linked app is configured, disclosures to advertising and measurement partners may be treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.
If your request relates to data that is processed by a third-party provider under that provider's own privacy policy, we may need to direct you to that provider or coordinate the request with them where appropriate.
To make a request, email contact@ex4.dev. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and protect the rights of other people.
13. Children's Privacy
ex4.dev is not intended for children under 13, or under the age that requires parental consent under the laws where the child lives. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without an appropriate legal basis or any required parental consent.
If a linked app is directed to children or mixed-age audiences, advertising, profiling, and related partner integrations may be limited, disabled, or configured differently to meet legal requirements.
If you believe a child provided personal information to us in a way that should not have happened, please contact contact@ex4.dev and we will review the situation.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the relevant service.
